Default Do you have a question about JZD

Or even the family?

So I don't know nearly as much about my dad as I would like, but still he was my dad, and often at the shows I get so hounded I rarely have time to think abou tand answer questions people may have. I may not have all the answers you want, but I may have some insight you'd like. If there is something you would like to know ask away here and I will answer as best I can, or try and find you the answer. Be forewarned, if you tick me off I will let you know ;)

It appears you had a great relationship with your father, but I don't hear much about your mother.

Is she involved with your life and your children?

Thanks,

Wow, this is quite a treat!

From the outside looking in, it looks as though your father had a VAST knowlege of securities law, corporations and business law in general. I would expect that he kept close counsel with the experts, but that he was in fact incredibly astute in these areas himself... and not through formal education. Was he the wiz that I think he was? Who did he rely on for advice the most?

What years would you put as the 'high point' of your Dad's life after the company?

Who was he friends with/ who did he admire that you think would surprise us?

Does your Stepmother still have anything Delorean related that your Father had after he passed away?

Thanks,
My mother and I are very close, after a long and difficult journey to get there wwe had to reach a point of giving up before we could rebuild. Today she is a cornerstone in my life and my stepfather is a second father to me, and has been for a lot of my life. Recently we have become very close, and they are both extremely involved in every part of my life.

Stepmom ? She has everything, we want to get it from her, my father kept a journal everyday of his life and I want those, along with his blueprints and other family hearilooms. My brother an I cannot afford a probate attorney and it has turned out to be a big mess.

GOtten run take some midterms, wanted to answer more, get to them when I come back.

Did your father ever talk about the Irish workers who built his dream? He still has quite a following over here with every person who worked in the factory.

p.s. I named my son after your father, Zachary McCann was 2 years old last month.

Who were some of the people your father most admired/looked up to?

What are you memories of the DeLorean Motor Company days? From the beginning days to the end?

What impact did it have on you?

How old were you at the time?

Did you ever visit the factory?

Did you father ever mention his personal and private opinions about the car? (positive or negative)

Thanks!

Oddly, the question that pops into my mind is what types of music did your dad listen to? When I work on the car, it's usually heavy metal/hard rock, but I can't imagine that's what John DeLorean listened to. But you never know!

Something I have been curious about is: Did the De Lorean car turn out the way he wanted? Also, was he pleased with the car he had brought into production or did he comprise too much, in short, was this car truly his "dream"?

What happened with Delorean time? Were any watches ever produced?

Thanks much for your time!
