http://www.delorean.com/store/c-294-...t-linkage.aspx all you should have left to do is take the 8mm nut off (part number 1) and remove the mounting bracket (part number 3 and there's also a spring under it; part number 10) and once you remove that, the bottom of the shifter will come out. At the back of the base, you'll see two phillips head screws, unscrew them and gently start to pull the base up watching underneath it for all the wiring. To make it easier, you can remove the 3 a/c knobs and there is a small screw that is located there to remove the a/c panel. This isn't really necessary, but does make it a little easier to remove the base. If your removing the base completely, make sure you mark/remember how the wires to the dimmer switch goes. Hope this helps.

I'm surprised there's nothing about removing the front fenders. I have a dent in the front left that I should be able to hammer out if I can get the fender off the car.

I hate to be a whore, but might someone be kind enough to post on how to replace an alternator? I think mine might be going bad, and will need to be replaced. The battery light keeps flashing intermittently during highway driving, and I don't think it's the battery.
I may buy a Hervey alternator, I assume you can get the correct belts from him? Last edited by Hollywood2311; 06-15-2008 at 07:43 PM. |

Here is a quick install walkthrough. Its not hard at all, but aren't you running an Eagle Premier? That may be different. http://www.dmctalk.com/showthread.php?p=124176
