Default shaved door handles

Has anyone done shaved door handles on the delorean? With the remote door openers it seems like this car is perfect for this mod. I know it would be horriable if the doors got stuck and the battery drained. Just wondering if anyone had info on this. Not sure if I will try to get this done.

Not really sure how that would look different. The rub strip hides the handles.

You'd need a good stainless repairer and would have to remove the rub strips to notice it. Not worth it, if you ask me, but I like the rub strips. I think they add to the lines of the car.

The locks wouldn't be so bad. Not much different than filling an antenna hole in a right fender.

The handles, you'd need a bad door (or two) to cut out the section you'd weld into place where the handle is now. We've talked about it here, but never tried it. You'd need a really good stainless guy...

Even if you did have a dead battery, it's not a big deal to pop the engine cover and attach a jump box. you'd want an easier, more elegant backup solution however.

I have been looking at my door with the black rubber trim off so I completely forgot about the thick line option. You could just add some more black rubber to it and completely cover handle.

I am not sure what I'll end up doing. It was just the random thought of the day.
