Hey everyone,

Thought I would pass along the invite after talking to a friend that is in the club. Deloreans are welcome!

British Car Day Invite at Polaris(Columbus) Quaker Steak and Lube(I-71 and Polaris Parkway) Sun, May 16,2010

I went last year and it was a great show, but there were no Deloreans there.

If anyone is interested, Deloreans are invited to register.

Just a follow-up....

I spoke with a representative with the British Car show.

The representative said that if at least 5 Delorean owners pre-register before May 1st, they will create a "Delorean" class.

Otherwise they will be welcomed into the "British-Other" section.

Either way is welcomed and encouraged.

I will be there as the show is only 5 minutes from my house.

I look forward to seeing familiar and new faces from the Delorean community.

Is there anyone interested? I live only 5 minutes away and will stop by to see the rest of the British Cars. If there aren't any Deloreans there I will go home once I have seen everything, otherwise I will stay longer and hang out with you. The weather looks to be great, and the restauraunt is a great venue with a great car club hosting...

Looks to be a nice example of an early build DeLorean. Is this Ken on DMCTalk?

Ken Knowlton, not Ken Koncelik(head of Delorean Car Show) if that is what you are clarifying.
Ken Knowlton says he is on DMCTalk, but hasn't been on in quite a while....

FYI,
That Bat Mobile was built by former DCOer Casey Putsch. He's going to use that as his tow vehicle when he races his formula 1 car and vintage motorcycles. Attached are a couple of build shots & a couple when we went out late one night to scare the local's with the train horn & machine guns.

I can't believe he towes with the Batmobile!
I also see he is using the 350 TPI engine and has the same C4 Corvette seats I put in my Monte Carlo....
We were planning to go to the Vintage Event at Mid-Ohio the Sunday after DCS so this will be a bonus to check out!

My wife and I made it out the show in Columbus, and got to meet DeloreanJosh. I wanted to say thanks to him for inviting me. It was really cool to go to a non standard car show where we got to see some types of cars we arn't used to seeing. It is always cool to see another delorean and Ken was really cool. Besides the Delorean, there where lots of cool cars there, the Lotus, DB7 and the Bentley.

I'll post a few pics, I forgot my digital camera so I had to use my phone.
