Question Delorean alternator output

What's the output of the Delorean alternator susposed to be on the gauge cluster? 13 volts? I noticed on some cars the volt meter going below 13 slightly.

Examples of conditions that will yield less than 13V on the gauge:
- Bad/dirty ground points and/or connectors.
- Loose/slipping alternator belt
- Alternator going bad
- Older and worn radiator fans
- A/C on, lights on, radio on, and GPS plugged into the lighter plug.

My friend's Cecil's car when I video taped it back in 08, the volt gauge was just below 13 volts. I'm sure he's fixed it by now. I know that he replaced the alternator with Special T's 110amp replacement. He always carries 2 deep cycle batteries with him.

The manual says check it if it's less than 13.5V -- use a good meter.
I'd add check RPM (loose belt, wrong pulley, poor idle, ...) to the growing list.

This was my gauge AFTER my alternator install...

THIS is my gauge after all grounds clean, plus new fuse box, fuses, and relays...
