Default Junkyard Delorean

Hello Delorean nuts.

Im not a Delorean enthusiast, but i am a car person in general. My wife and I were going through a local u pull it junk yard and stumbled upon a Delorean, very odd sight. I contacted the DMC resto companies but they had no interest.

I just thought that someone might be interested in this car for parts or something. The car being rare and everything. The counter person at the junkyard offered the car to me when i commented about it.

Im not looking to gain anything from this car, but if you are interested in it, i can contact the junkyard and put you in contact with them. Just trying to help. The car is located in North Charleston South Carolina, only about 100 yards from my transmission shop.

My email address it MonteCarloSS000@gmail.com My phone number is 843-276-0554

My name is Robert Griffin

Thank you.

Interesting. Some of the injectors have been pulled. The torsion bar looks like it's still there. I'm guessing about a 4500 to 5500 series 5-speed. Someone let me know if I'm correct.

You should try calling that guy sometime. He seems like he knew a little bit about the car.

Look closer, torsion bars are gone as the retaining brackets are not there. I doubt someone just took the brackets.

Zoom in...they are both removed. It's interesting how clean the rear glass has been removed. There is no residue on the under body.
