Anybody know of an easy way to save screen shots? Currently I press Ctrl+Print Screen, open Photoshop, then file/new, edit and finally paste.
There's got to be an easier way. Also, I'd rather not download and install another program for this. TIA

I hit print screen and then paste in photoshop. Photoshop starting up is the PITA for me, it can take forever with CS2.
I just did a quick search and there are a bunch of utilities out there for making them quickly. |

Yeah, I was just hoping that there was something built into windows that I didn't know about.

I just hit "Print Screen" and pasted it into Paint.

Paint does load faster than photoshop. I guess I'll start doing that.
Too bad there's no key sequence you could just do. Like press Ctrl and Print Screen, then enter and you have a file on your desktop. Now that would be fast and easy.

Does paint save as Jpegs? The only reason I use Photoshop is to make the image smaller, crop it and save it for web.

Get Hyper Snap. Works like a charm.

the simple image viewer acdsee classic lets you crop images down for the web. Used with paint, it is the fastest sceencap or thumbnail maker.
