In the DCO Newsletter there is a section for "In The News" items. I didn't have room for all of the extra stories so I am posting them here.

Some may be literally old news but I'm sure new to some.


One of the most interesting (to me) is related to the very first DeLorean Car Show in Cincinnati back in 1998. 12 years after the first DCS show a lady was doing some genealogy searching on the internet and found that her cousin, whom she hadn't seen for nearly 40 years, attended a "DeLorean auto show [...] at the Museum Center at Union Terminal". After contacting the museum she was able to reunite with him thanks to the DCS!

Bay City Roller JZD Fan

One of the musicians of the Bay City Rollers, Andrew Breitbart, says that John DeLorean is one of his heros. It's just too bad the writer of the article got the usual facts wrong about the drug sting. But I doubt they care as the liberally slanted article purposely misspelled Ronald Reagan's last name as disgruntled liberals often do.

Carl Tilley Found Guilty

Back in January Carl Tilley and his wife were found guilty. For those who don't know, Carl stole battery charging technology, exaggerated the abilities and tried to scam people out of their money and one of his vehicles was a DeLorean. The Infamous "Tilley DeLorean" is now owned by Bob Brandys.
