Priorities do Vary. I'd get a custom stereo and a strut tower brace before I replaced the dash, painted the facia or fixed the seat covers because it would be more important to have a car that is fun to drive, then one that is perfect to look at.

Of course tie rods are a different story...

A serpentine belt set up would be a welcome answer to my supercharger problem. I'm tring to put a powerdyne supercharger (I purchased a mustang kit) on my D. The problem is to attch a serpentine pully to the crank it would hit the muffler. this might free me up. any other answers to my problem would would be great.

I believe you wrong on this one. Modern vehicles use serpentine system for a good reason. By using serpentine configuration (flat belt, of course), you will gain HP and all your bearings (Crank, AC, Alternator etc.) will last longer, no much belt tension needed compared to V belt.

Yes, I will buy this system if available.

Now, I don't know if this will be cost efective to build.

I agree with Ed that having a trigger wheel pulley available would be very nice, but I think that is a separate "want", and a much more functional "want" from a complete serpentine setup which would undoubtedly cost more than $500 for everything needed.

I've done some investigating on what it would take to get all the pulleys in alignment( same Plane) It would appear that this would require repositioning the A/C compressor forward about .6 inches. ( custom Mounting Brackects) The would adjust it to be in the same plane as the Water pump & Alternator. It would then give you adaquit room for a 1 in wide Serpentine belt.

3.0's are just easier since I can pick them up locally. And owners are accustom to the 3.0 swap more then a 2.5
2.5 will be rolling out of my shop eventually though.
