They are no longer using his manifold. Back to the stock PRV intake with "adaptive" piping to a passenger side mounted charger on the valve cover.

Josh, will you be selling your fuel rails separately? I've got a set that works but one of my "make it pretty, make it right" projects is to replace them with a proper set of custom rails with matched fittings and whatnot.

Josh,

Does your EFI kit stick with the stock intake manifold, or does it include a custom one? EFI is far and away the most desired part of my plan to build up my car.

the base kit uses the stock manifold slightly modified. This was to keep down the costs and retain a stock look as close to possible as the original.

So is everybody here jumping the gun....lol
I dont really think theres gonna be a stage III anytime soon. If you want more power let Ed, or Josh hook you up with a fast engine.

I bought my car knowing it wasnt fast, nor would it ever be fast. Sure I would like it to be faster. I remember my first call to the consigner when I bought 5609 and the first thing he told me is "It's not fast"(PS he is a muscle car collector, so if it's not a 13 second car, its not fast). It kind of put me at ease as I remember thinking, he's honest about it and not trying to build it up. If I get the urge for another fast car and still want to keep my D, I'll but an older WRX or Evo(something I can keep outside), or mabe even another Talon and build it. If I ever decide to sell my D, I'm going for a Viper as my next ride.
For me I would be hesitant to spend that kind of money to make 5609 faster, not to mention any problems that may occur that would require me to ship it off to DMC everytime something went wrong.
If I lived within driving distance of a DMC facility, I might have a different opinion. If a stage III puts down an honest 250 to the wheels, sure 8-10k might not be that bad, but I would need some serious reassurance that that engine would be bullet proof, and the engine/trans would not only be able to handle the power, but be under warranty if the extra power caused it's demise...how do you prove something like that anyway?

I'm sure if it put down 250hp it wouldn't be to the wheels. and for a price of $10,000.00 NO WAY..lol. I would rather do a swap for 5000.00, have a more reliable, faster car and have a wonderful christmas with the rest But seriously It all depends on what you want from your Delorean
Some people are happy with a beautiful yet underpowered car.
I like the looks of the car to be matched with its engine
