TN to Lexington, With gas I think 1000.00 is a pretty close figure and its just not worth it for me. If I could go and just visit the vendors, rub elbows, maybe attend the car show(not enter, just look) maybe. I don't know, 3 days of DCS for 1000.00 is just not me. Maybe one year if its in Pigeon Forge again or Asheville(beautiful city BTW, it would make an excellent location with the Blue Ridge Parkway) or someplace close I can go for a day trip.
I'm not saying it's not worth it, obviously it is for most people. I was just a little suprised at the cost.
I just don't think I could have a good time knowing I'm 1000.00 poorer when I got home(probably more like 1,800 after I visit the vendors and I would have to have at LEAST one raffle ticket)
EDIT: Can I buy a few tickets and not attend or register?, or maybe just register to buy 2 tickets, and not attend?
Hello!

Yes, you can buy raffle tickets separately from purchasing registration for the show. Here's the link:

There are plenty of options available as well for coming to the show on the cheap. You don't have to register for all the events, dinners, or all the days to enjoy the show.

Glad to finally talk to the new owner of VIN 5609! That car sat in my driveway for a year or two, while Ken and I sold parts off of it to support the DCS back in it's younger days. (it had been severely neglected prior to that) I've got tons of pictures of it, as it went through this process, if you'd like to see them, PM me.

Hey Ron,

What about us DeLorean owners that beat our own cars in the autocross races? That was some fun stuff!!! It was amazing to see how the Bricklins handled versus our DeLoreans!

Everyone should check this event out (if its done again in Lexington) These little parking lot autocross events are some of the most fun Ive had with my D and are a blast to watch.

This time I'm going to enter. Last year I was worried about my TABs giving way under the hard cornering.

Got a new hotel confirmation today. They dropped the nightly price from $129 to $119.

Btw Dave, how long is the show? 1 or 2 days? I need to make my hotel reservations along with Jeremy.

Check-in: Thursday, June 17, 2010 (04:00 PM)
Check-out: Sunday, June 20, 2010 (12:00 PM)

You don't need to attend everything but three nights an you can do it all.
