Exclamation British Car Day Invite at Polaris(Columbus) Quaker Steak and Lube, Sun, May 16,2010

Hey everyone,

Thought I would pass along the invite after talking to a friend that is in the club. Deloreans are welcome!

British Car Day Invite at Polaris(Columbus) Quaker Steak and Lube(I-71 and Polaris Parkway) Sun, May 16,2010

http://www.buckeyetriumphs.org/BCD/bcdindex.htm

I went last year and it was a great show, but there were no Deloreans there.

If anyone is interested, Deloreans are invited to register.

Just trying to help out.....

Thumbs up Re: British Car Day Invite at Polaris(Columbus) Quaker Steak and Lube, Sun, May 16,20

Just a follow-up....

I spoke with a representative with the British Car show.

The representative said that if at least 5 Delorean owners pre-register before May 1st, they will create a "Delorean" class.

Otherwise they will be welcomed into the "British-Other" section.

Either way is welcomed and encouraged.

I will be there as the show is only 5 minutes from my house.

I look forward to seeing familiar and new faces from the Delorean community.

Please stop by and visit!!

Is there anyone interested? I live only 5 minutes away and will stop by to see the rest of the British Cars. If there aren't any Deloreans there I will go home once I have seen everything, otherwise I will stay longer and hang out with you. The weather looks to be great, and the restauraunt is a great venue with a great car club hosting...

Pictures from the event. Thanks Ken Knowlton! A super nice guy with his family that we got to no really well! We had a real blast, see the below pics!!
-Josh

Nikki, Me, and Ken

There was a couple with matching BTTF shirts on the left side of the car...

Ken, and his family, Thanks again Ken...

Many onlookers. Ken was having a conversation with one person, another person on the otherside of the car kept saying, "1.21 gigawatts-88 mph, right?" several times until Ken stopped his conversation, turned around and said..."Yes...."

Ken

Nikki and I twisted Ken's arm and cleared our clothes of sharp objects!

Lotus Esprit

Lotus Esprits (2), race car, and Elan

Sweet Batmobile street-driven to/from Tiffin, OH that was there...many of you have already seen this it appears...

If you would like to see more pictures of other British Cars, let me know and I will post them.....

Thanks for looking!

Very nice early Delorean. Great that you got someone to come out.

Looks to be a nice example of an early build DeLorean. Is this Ken on DMCTalk?

Ken Knowlton, not Ken Koncelik(head of Delorean Car Show) if that is what you are clarifying.
Ken Knowlton says he is on DMCTalk, but hasn't been on in quite a while....
